Start Your Diploma Course Today and become a qualified teacher!

The Bright DTLLS course can be combined with the Assessor Certificate as the chosen DTLLS option units are also mandatory units in the assessors qualification. If you do not wish to do the assessors qualification you can do the ‘non-assessor’ route DTLLS – where you complete optional teaching units instead.

  • Qualified Assessors are highly sought after within vocational education, and holding this qualification will greatly increase your chances of securing employment as a teacher
  • You can now gain both your Diploma To Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) and Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement with very little extra work.
  • Once registered you can access your course from anywhere in the world, as long as you have internet access
  • Bright’s flexible training approach is built around your needs
  • Bright allocate a Mentor to guide you through the DTLLS course

The DTLLS course is delivered through an online learning platform consisting of virtual lessons, reading, questions and activities. Each module is covering a different aspect of the course and includes activities.

You will need to keep a log of 150 hours of teaching, three hours of which will be observed by your mentor, and 5 will need to be observed by a colleague in your workplace. There is also a ‘micro teach’ to attend, and tese are held locally throughout the UK.

Knowledge of relevant elements of minimum core is embedded within the cousework.

Already have teaching and training qualifications?

Bright have a specialist APL department that can advise on and check whether previous qualifications can be used as evidence to enable you to be disqualified from completing certain units within DTLLS.
